Captcha redefined

When Captcha was introduced in Yahoo Briefcase, the artificial intelligence was not that great. But now the algorithms are smart enough to read the distorted text - sometimes, better accuracy than humans. So Google is experimenting interesting ways of differentiating humans & automated tools.

A picture is worth of thousand words (or even more for a blind person)

Imagine this: A blind person uses the camera in his mobile and point it to the objects in front of him. The mobile talks to him and explains the object. Thanks to Google Research, that day is not too far in the future.

5 years ago if someone told me that Microsoft created a cross platform device or Google created a website that works only in a single browser, I would have laughed. But today both happened. Microsoft released Band and Google has Inbox that works only in Chrome.
